A lot of you have asked how to create a sidebar widget to display your favorite items. You can create one and have it up year-round but switch out the items to match the season. It’s especially important to share your favorite go-to pieces since your readers trust your style and guidance on your blog to do their seasonal shopping.
For Blogger:
- Create your widget using our tools! Keep in mind that if it’s a sidebar you’ll want to restrict the sizing to fit your blog.
- Head to the layout tab
- Scroll over to the right side of the page to “sidebar-right-2-1” and click on HTML/JavaScript
- Go back to the widget you created, and click on “Copy Embed Link”
- In the HTML/JavaScript box that pops up you can paste the widget code.
- Add an appropriate title to your widget prior to the start of the code if you want to name it — like Holiday Favorites, or Seasonal Stockting Stuffers.
- Save.
Violá, you now have a sidebar widget. Utilize this year-round to maximize your earning potential!
