Why do I need to complete a tax form to get paid?

If you establish an affiliate relationship through ShopStyle Collective, we are required by the IRS to report the annual income you receive through the programme via a 1099 form. Therefore, we must first collect your tax information via a W9 form before making the first payment. This is similar to other affiliate programmes.
