Introducing ShopStyle Syndication: More Revenue Opportunities For You

In April of this year we launched Looks and Collections, a tool to help you monetize your social activity, including your Instagram and Snapchat posts. Since then, you’ve driven hundreds of thousands of clicks and sales to ShopStyle retail partners using Looks and Collections on your websites.

But Looks and Collections was just the first phase of a much bigger initiative that we have been working on that will further Power Your Passion for blogging, making money, and growing your communities: ShopStyle Syndication.

What is ShopStyle Syndication? Syndication is an exclusive offering for Collective members that enables you to automatically showcase your Looks (and affiliate links) to shoppers around the world on ShopStyle.com. With 18M monthly unique visitors worldwide and nine visits per second on ShopStyle, this is a huge opportunity for you to tap into a whole new shopping-focused audience and increase the revenue you generate.

Today, we’re releasing the second phase of Syndication, which includes:

1. Featured Looks: ShopStyle is taking all the Looks that you are creating for your Collections and featuring them on ShopStyle.com. Each Look featured will link out to all of the products tagged within that Look (yes, your affiliatized links will remain, so you get the credit). ShopStyle Editors will be highlighting Looks created regularly on this page.

2. Profile Pages: As shoppers discover your Looks, we want to make sure they are easily able to see all of your content, so we’ve created new Collective user profile pages on ShopStyle, which display all your Looks in one place. To access your profile page, paste the following your URL and add in your Collective username to the end: http://www.shopstyle.com/collective/ENTERCOLLECTIVEUSERNAME

These Look Pages are best leveraged if your ShopStyle Collective profile is complete:

• Add a profile picture: go to your account settings in your Collective dashboard and add a photo
• Fill out your accurate website URL: go to your account settings in your Collective dashboard and add a website URL
• Create as many Looks as possible to best enhance your page
• Make sure you enable Syndication when creating Looks, which gives us permission to show your Look and products tagged across ShopStyle

3. Create and Share Looks On the Go: Previously, you were only able to create Looks on a  desktop and Looks were only shoppable within a Collection on your site. Now, you can create Looks using  the ShopStyle Collective iOS app and share them directly to any of your social networks: Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, and Snapchat (via Emoticode) — making your social content instantly shoppable with one click / tap / screenshot.

So many great changes to help Power Your Passion, and this is just the beginning for Syndication!
