Your dashboard should be one of the top things you look at daily on Collective. It’s the place with an aggregate of all the relevant info on your account, so if you only have a few minutes to check in on your account, make sure the dashboard is at the top of your list. There you can focus on how much you are earning, as well as the items your readers are actually clicking on (so you can give them more of that — and earn more money). And from this information as well as “Insights,” you can craft your content calendars to drive your creative strategy.
Pro tip: check on these three items daily
- Balance: It’s found on the left-hand side of your account and generally goes up as you earn more, unless you are in the process of getting paid out, when the amount will go down as it’s on its way to your PalPal account.
- Your graph line: It’s at the top of your dashboard. You can filter to see two lines (one for clicks and one for sales) for more granularity into how you are performing.
- Top products under “Merchandising Insights”– Scroll further down on your dashboard to see more stats and you’ll find the products your readers are purchasing. When you understand what these are, you understand what your readers actually like to buy, putting you in the position of making more money if you strategically share similar items.
