Holiday Strategy: Keep It Fresh

We are less than 20 days away from the Christmas, which means everyone you know is scrambling to find gifts for their family, friends, co-workers, and themselves. It’s your chance to monetize your influence and help them find those perfect gifts.

It’s time to reset and think strategically. Have you created gift guides? Are they up to date with in-stock products? Are you sharing new and relevant content for the holiday season? Are your products seasonally appropriate? No matter the climate you live in, everyone has the holidays on the brain so it’s imperative to make sure your content is reflected in this universal theme.

Here are some ways to keep your content fresh!

This is the easiest way to make sure you aren’t referring products to your readers that can’t be purchased.   • Frequency Of Content: It’s so important to create new content multiple times a week, if not everyday, especially when the majority of your readers are in shopping mode. You should share gift guides and products that speak to multiple types of demographics — think under $25, stocking stuffers, or best beauty gifts.
  • Type Of Content: Your content should be seasonally focused. If you haven’t blogged since summer it’s time to update your posts and get in the holiday spirit with something more seasonally relevant, especially since that is what your readers are looking for.
