Last week, ShopStyle headed to Napa Valley with Viva Luxury, Angel Food Style, Devon Rachel, and Sydne Style for some R&R and, of course, wine!
First, we rode to the airport in style with Lyft Premier and Lyft Lux. We flew Alaska Airlines on a quick one hour flight from LAX to Santa Rosa, and then took a short drive into Napa Valley. Once we arrived at Solage, an Auberge Resort, we were greeted with a delicious glass of Pinot Grigio to enjoy while touring the resort with the wonderful staff. The rooms at Solage were absolutely stunning — cozy, private cottages equipped with fireplaces and quaint little patios.
Can we take a second to talk about the welcome baskets? We teamed up with a few of our favorite brands so that each guest had everything they needed to enjoy the trip in comfort and style. Nike provided their classic Cortez sneakers for daytime activities, Loeffler Randall provided shoes to go from cocktails to dinner, Lele Sadoughi and Bauble Bar supplied the gorgeous jewelry, and Oribe nailed the hair products. There were cozy monogrammed robes from Mark & Graham, a super chic bag from Senreve, and each blogger received a photo of themselves and their guest framed by Framebridge. Last and certainly not least, Alaska Airlines provided two flight vouchers ANYWHERE they fly!
Once everyone was settled in, it was time for dinner at the restaurant at Solage, Solbar. We started the evening off with pink bubbles and made our way to the table for the most magnificent meal — kampachi crudo, gnocchi with braised oxtail, mushroom risotto, and sauteed striped sea bass. Needless to say, everyone was in a bit of food coma and ready for bed early.
The next day started off with some spa time and time with our fabulous photographer, Jessica Monroy. Each guest received the “Mud Slide” treatment at the Spa at Solage, which included a full-body mud mask, salt tub soak, and a little nap in the sleep chair. Yes, please!
Afterwards, we headed to Calistoga Ranch where we walked the stunning property. We tasted the ranch’s housemade honey and toured the vines, beekeeper’s area, gorgeous greenhouse, and the cutest chicken pen we’ve ever seen!
Then, we headed to the Lake House for a wonderful farm-to-table lunch near the lake — such a peaceful view.
When we headed back to Solage, we were surprised with the most beautiful floral baskets and bicycles for a little afternoon ride. Each bike was personalized with a license plate for each blogger and it was a picturesque afternoon.
The day ended with some comfort food at Farmstead, which was a super fun restaurant in town with live music, Christmas lights, and the best cheese biscuits.
