We sincerely apologize about the confusion with payments for some of our users this month. Additionally, we would like to apologize for the delay in communicating exactly what was happening while we were focused on getting the process back on track.
In the spirit of transparency, we’d love to share more on how our payment process works and our plan to improve going forward.
We have an extensive review process of all Collective earnings at the end of each month. Part of this process is to ensure that you get all of your hard earned money! Once we’ve confirmed everything is correct, we set up an automated process that instructs PayPal to attempt payments on the 19th.
While we initiate payments on the 19th of every month, this does not guarantee you will receive payment on the 19th. Please allow up to 3 days to receive your payment.
You may have received a “Failed” payment message this month. This was due to the automated process attempting to make a payments on 2/19, while other parts of the payment process had not yet completed due to the federal holiday.
We then reviewed all “Failed” payments to ensure all outstanding influencers were included in the following payment instruction. This process was successful and completed on 2/21.
We completely understand your frustration and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Further, we’re taking action immediately to improve payment communication with all accounts.
