How to Make the Most of Amazon Prime Day

Prime Day is Amazon’s biggest global shopping event held exclusively for Prime members. Prime day will go live on July 15th and last through July 16th, for 48 hours! With over 100 million products sold during Prime Day 2018, and 400% more in sales than on a typical day, this is an opportunity you don’t want to miss. 

 To help you make the most of it, our ShopStyle Collective experts are here with tips on managing Prime Day sales across your channels. 

  • Take advantage of our Prime Day commission bonus on July 15th. Any click that results in a sale on this day will earn a 10% bonus on all confirmed commissions for the first 24 hours of Prime Day. Learn more here. 

  • Dive into your analytics from the past 90 days to see what’s performed well, then share products you know your audience is likely to shop.

  • Check out our exclusive Amazon Insights report for data on top performers across ShopStyle Collective.

  • Keep categories and brands in mind! Refer to Amazon’s Special Offers page for tiered commission rates on fashion, home, beauty and more.

  • Drop cookies now! Seed your content with Amazon links so you receive credit for purchases. (Amazon has confirmed their cookie window for Prime Day 2019 is 24 hours, however the shopper has 90 days to buy the item for you to still receive credit!)

  • Encourage your followers to Favorite the items they want in advance so they’ll receive alerts if the prices drop during Prime Day. For more about Favorites, visit our Learning Center.

  • Utilize our Sold Out Notification tool. As Prime Day products tend to sell out quickly, make sure that your followers don’t click on items that are unavailable.

  • Create widgets for specific categories tailored to what your audience likes, e.g. “summer fashion favorites” or “mommy must-haves”.

  • Social media is a great way to promote deals that will expire quickly. By including your ShopStyle Shop in your Instagram bio, the Looks you upload throughout the day will stay within easy reach of your followers.
