Last four days of Nordstrom sale!

The Nordstrom Anniversary sale ends August 7th, so it’s the last week for your readers to shop NEW FALL ARRIVALS at amazing, discounted prices. Nordstrom has restocked many of the items that sold out early on in the sale, giving you more reason to make a final push to your readers. Many influencers see a 200% – 400% increase in their revenue as a result of this sale, so take advantage while you can!


Reminder to use these best practices when promoting the sale:

  • Emphasize that new season items are massively discounted and that they need to buy now because prices will go back up after August 7th! This is all new fall merchandise, not clearance, so it’s not your average sale.

  • Make sure your posts are SEO friendly:

    • Have “Nordstrom Anniversary Sale” in your URLs and in any tags

    • Use #Nsale in your content on the blog and social channels

    • Use KEYWORDS in text hyperlinks

  • Use your “Sold out notifications” on the dashboard to update saved sale widgets with sold out items

  • Continue to include organic Nordstrom sale content throughout your other posts (and call out the item is on sale) in addition to dedicated sale posts.

    • Ex: Link to similar items that are from the Anniversary Sale

  • Use this opportunity to do at least one more dedicated post. Repost bestselling items or include new items you think your readers would be interested in. As always, use widgets in your posts 🙂


For the month of August, Nordstrom has increased commission rates for the following departments:

  • All beauty & fragrance – 20%

  • Women’s dresses – 20%

  • All men’s apparel & shoe styles – 20%

  • Women’s plus-size clothing – 18%

  • Sunglasses trends – 16%

  • Topshop for summer – 16%

Including content from high commission departments will help you drive more revenue which will help increase your click rate.
