The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is in full swing! How great is this coat and this romper and, oh, can’t forget about these boots — everyone wants them! This month is one of the busiest of the year in terms of revenue for you and it’s no wonder why — you are all killing it with sharing the sale, linking to top-selling items, and constantly reminding your readers that they can only get pre-Fall at this price now!
Here are some bloggers killing it! Take cues from them on how to best monetize the Nordstrom sale:
- Dana from Pink Champagne Problems shares her picks on Emoticode! It’s our newest way to monetize your Snapchat, and it’s fun and easy to use. Dana engages her audience with her fave picks and instantly shares that they can shop by screenshotting this image and uploading it to Emoticode.
- Taylor from It’s the Little Things understands that the NSale has a lot of items that will or have already sold out, so she primes her readers by letting them know and shares her favorite items still available on the sale for under $100! Great idea to source what’s still available and even better to do a roundup of items under $100 — who doesn’t love the under-$100 category?
- Michelle from The Young and The Stylish tells her readers when the prices go up for the #NSale, so they know when to expect the discount to end. It encourages shoppers to get their pre-Fall discounted items now before they go up to full price.
- Mackenzie from Mackenzie Kendall keeps her readers interested by piecing together a collage and adding in affiliate links for all the items underneath it. This is a great instant way to curate your favorite items from the sale.
- Natalie from Thoughts by Natalie does such a great job in segmenting different divisions of clothing and breaking down what’s hot in each vertical. Take, for instance, her post where she breaks down the top activewear from the #NSale or the top items to score for “Sweater Weather” — breaking it up for your readers like this makes the sale that much more digestible and easy to shop!
There are SO many great examples (like this and this post) of how to best monetize this sale. I could go on for awhile, but I’ll leave you with these to start with. Leave your blog posts in the comments showing me how you use ShopStyle Collective links to share the #NSale and you might see yourself in the next #NSale roundup.

I did two posts so far, and I’m planning on doing another for the Nordstrom sale.
The first one I did was a round-up of picks from each department under $50 – http://livinglesh.com/sss-nordstrom-anniversary-sale/
And the second one was a look at the pieces I tried on when I shopped – http://livinglesh.com/nordstrom-anniversary-sale-tried/

Great ideas! I also include sale items in the side bar of my blog, organized by category, so they’re visible in ALL my posts!
Thank you for sharing these tips! I love seeing what other bloggers are doing to share the best deals from the #Nsale with their readers. This is a post I did during the first weekend of public sale!
