- July 24: Preview Begins
- This year, the preview starts at 9:30am ET/6:30am PT and is available to everyone, regardless of Nordy Club status!
- Preview all Anniversary sale items to start crafting your content.
- August 13: Early Access
- Online shopping begins at 9:30am ET/6:30am PT.
- Early access has a tiered approach this year depending on your Nordy Club status, so you may have access before August 13. To check your loyalty access and find your sale access date, login to your Nordstrom account and visit “cardholder status”.
- Icons Nordy Club Status: August 4
- Ambassadors Nordy Club Status: August 7
- Influencers Nordy Club Status: August 10
- Please note that this is a Nordy Club cardmember tier. Influencers do not get special access unless they are a cardholder and have loyalty status. Check here to see if you have Influencers Nordy Club status
- Insiders Nordy Club Status: August 13 (all cardmembers!)
- August 19: Public Access
- Online shopping begins at 9:30am ET/6:30am PT.
- August 30: Sale Ends
- Prices go up August 31

Tool Tip 1: Drop Cookies Ahead of the Sale 🛍🍪
✨ Insider Trick: Start sharing Nordstrom products with your audience now to optimize your earnings potential during the sale.
How does this work?
- Nordstrom’s cookie window is around 14 days.
- Example of what this means: If a shopper visits Nordstrom.com through your affiliate link August 7th (before the sale) and then returns again during the NSale, Nordstrom.com may recognize that they’re the same shopper that was at the site previously. If so, you’ll earn commission for their trip during the sale, too!
- Remember: the last cookie wins! If any other form of attribution overrides your cookie during their shopping trip, your link wouldn’t get commission attribution.

Notes on Creating NSale Content
Before Public Access begins (8/19), you may notice a couple oddities regarding NSale product information, such as:

Products marked as Sold Out that are actually in-stock

Estimated Commissions of $0 (information available when using LinkIt)
We encourage you to post NSale content as planned–these signals do not directly indicate the estimated commission or inventory status of the products before Public Access begins. Accuracy regarding the above will improve around 8/19 when the Public Access Sale begins.

- When tagging your Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Content on social, use #Nordstrom or #NSale.
- You are encouraged to optimize your own site to garner traffic around the anniversary sale, however, you may not purchase keywords on search sites related to Nordstrom or any variation thereof, for example ‘Nordstrom Sale’ or ‘Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.’
- In other words, you may not use keywords related to Nordstrom in any paid media including paid search, paid social (Facebook, Instagram, etc) or any other paid advertising.
- Giveaways, sweepstakes, or contests associated with any Nordstrom branded term are not permitted.
- Please call/check your local Nordstrom store ahead of time when preparing your visit to stay up to date on hours of operation and COVID restrictions/guidelines.
- Please be mindful of the amount of time you are using the dressing rooms and be considerate of the sales associates’ time when asking to retrieve products.
- These strategies only apply to the US Anniversary Sale. Canada participates but it is a separate event.
- While Influences are highly valued, Nordstrom cannot grant additional permissions or exclusive access to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale both online or in-store.

Q: Will I receive commission from buy online, pick up in store orders?
A: Yes! Anything bought online on nordstrom.com and picked up counts for your commissions. Your audience can shop through your affiliate links and if they select Nordstrom’s “Buy & Pick Up” option, you will still receive a commission.
Q: Which categories will Nordstrom be focusing on for this year’s Anniversary Sale?
A: Nordstrom’s assortment and promotions will be heavily focused on offers featuring lounge, sleep, beauty, at home, and essential items like socks and underwear. Other focus categories include: fall fashion/casual essentials, active/athleisure, and back to school.
Q: Are there any brand restrictions?
A: Yes. The North Face will be included in the sale, but cannot specifically be called out in marketing efforts, posts, social media, or other content. You may include them in roundups or widgets.
Try-On Hauls at Home: Whether you’ve ordered online or picked up safely in-store, try-on hauls are a simple yet compelling way to share your picks and ultimately drive sales. While this content style is popular on Instagram Stories, push your try-ons to all channels (blog + social) to maximize success.
Glam Glam Glam: Nordstrom’s beauty offering is not to be missed! Take advantage of Anniversary Sale makeup, skin care, fragrance, and hair care prices, and share via product review, finished makeup look, step-by-step tutorial, or haul. Not sure where to start? Attend one of Nordstrom’s free virtual Glam-Up events for tips from the experts.
#NSale on a Budget: Create some space in your Anniversary Sale content to help your followers who want to shop but aren’t trying to break the bank. Through styled looks, a colorful collage, or a list of your picks, share your recommendations at various price points such as “Nsale Picks Under $50.”
From August 19th to August 30th, Nordstrom is dropping a deal a day on brand-new products. For each day of the public sale, they will launch a new item at 50% off! The assortment will be cross-divisional and not limited to apparel only. Check out the Daily Deals Calendar to stay ahead of the game.
